New Year, New Year’s Resolutions.

The tradition of making New Year’s resolutions is thought to go back 4,000 years, I’m sure many of you aren’t a stranger to the making of a new year’s resolution.

but have you ever considered making a New Year’s resolution for your pet?

For many of us, the new year gives us the chance to set new goals, break bad habits, and create new beginnings for ourselves, family.

This year we’d like our clients and followers to join us in breaking new ground and creating new year’s resolutions not only for us humans, but for our pets.

Your goals may be big or small, from achieving calmness during handling or nail clipping, getting your pet used to a new walker or finding a pet care provider for when you go on holiday or at work, to helping your dog with their reactivity, many goals can seem far-fetched when you’re struggling. But how do you get started?

  • How to Get started:
  • 1.Write a list of your goals.
  • 2. share with someone ( maybe with us at https://www.facebook.com/HoofPawsj/)
  • 3. Assess Do you need professional support?
  • 4. Research appropriate professionals to achieve your Goals.
  • 5. Get in touch with a professional.
  • 6. Create small achievable steps.
  • 7. Video your progress.
  • 8. Record your feelings on how you feel its going.
  • 9.Record how you feel your animals are doing with the goal and changes.
  • 10. Create a New Progression step
